Brigade Enterprises has won an auction for the sale of 10.5 acres of land of ERL, a division of BPL on the Old Madras Road, Bangalore.
The land is strategically located in Bangalore's growth corridor close to the peripheral ring road near Budigere Cross with good accessibility to the New International Airport and the IT corridor, Brigade said in a statement.
The company has also bagged 5 acres in Kochi to develop an IT SEZ. The Info Park Kochi is the IT park developed by the Government of Kerala.
"The location promises considerable growth potential and would help us to develop 1.5mn square feet of quality office and residential space in the next 3-4 years," said M.R. Jaishankar, Chairman & MD, Brigade Group.
"This is our first commercial project in Kochi. The work on the project would start in a couple of months and will be completed three years thereafter. The built-up area is likely to be around 600,000 sq. ft. of IT space which will be jointly developed with Info Park Kochi," Jaishankar added.
